where everyone go? :hung:
just lurking around ftm.... looking at mountain bikes now....
thinking of gettin a bike to leave at the Goddess' place so that we can do our cycling sundays more efficiently....
since the birth of our cycling sundays we're found alot of good shiat and stuff..... and bonded really well =D
GT is like....lookin kinda ex........ ;____;
you take care of your legs first before you start cycling again kae.
hmmm bikes. how big the budget? :think:
eh oh yah hor... forgot about my leg haha.... went cycling as usual yesterday lawl.... then when i went to pick the bike from the rental shop the uncle gawked at me... and i was wondering why was he staring at me.... then he was like in chinese
"wah ni qi na li nah dao na mo da de hong bao?"
wah you go where get such a big hong bao...
only then i remembered that i had a scraped knee.....
got more stares later when we cycled... haha... and most of it was at the knee :thumbsup:
tsk tsk tsk :nono:
how can you forget about your injuries?
thinking of maybe 400 max? depend la... as long as got some suspension and those cool convenient shimano gearshifts.... just got letter from gahman... gonna get gst credit soon... so gonna use that sum for the bike... and maybe top up another 200$ to the rest of the remainder...
gonna use the bike to travel from one neighbourhood to another... and maybe go on those bike trails...
Look around... quite a few good choices these days. Look for a good gear shift system which you would like. I generally favour Shimano's rapidfire system. Then the next query would be, what kind of riding style? Agressive, downhill, speed, etc...
Each have their particular requirements, like shorter heads for downhill, longer chainstays for uphill rides, etc... The best if you have the budget to, would be to custom fit a frame to your size and riding style.
yah the rapidfire ones are good...tried those before and i'm hooked... i'm eyeing those babies......
more for like a mix of long distance cruising and maybe cycling on loose gravel/sand stuff like that...
