Great move Leong!
Count me in for streets and cityscapes. There's actually so much to explore, besides the typical depictions of streets n city.* I particularly like the way Van has done her streetscapes (Geylang). Van, would you like to consider organising a few mini-tutorials for us? Seeing, shooting and post work?
I would also love to explore:
- modern stage and performance photography
- dance photography
Not classical or traditional theatre, but something that allows easier and more access to us. One outing I managed to get permission for us to go on stage and shoot but ended up I was the only one on stage shooting!Going up on stage to shoot was the best move I made all evening!
One possible avenue is to organise a BASIC course covering LIGHT. I feel that there's very little or no understanding of the basics of light where photography is concerned. It's ironical, because light is the MOST CRUCIAL element in photography but very few want to know about it, understand it and learn how to control it.
Instead of just going out to shoot, msbbie can focus more on learning in a more structured way instead of just going out and killing out shutters and thinking of BBB, fooled into thinking it would improve standards and skills.

I actually got serious in photography decade ago when i started dance photography.... helping in a dance group mainly for their performance and photos for media release....
Dance is abit difficult for me now as i haven't help out for sometime. But those interested in shooting martial art, that is very very easy to arrange.
Like van, i don't think i can join anymore group, even if i join, i will MIA most of the time, and you should know that i prefer small group....more focus. But if this Sunday i'm at town, i might drop by.
But more important is that other than TCSS, hopefully we will focus and supportive to make this ideas work.
Or......we just continue to TCSS only..........

I not psychic. i deal with people everyday. i seen love, anger, eagerness.... i can sometimes read out what a person want to say before he/she says it. its a gift i have; i am thankful i have it and i learn to use it to help people.
