As to what I know, Portraits are shots of models who posed for the shoot.

Street & Candids are candid shots of scenery and people on the streets.

I was reading back on a thread by a fellow exposer : macrolandscape

Portraits from Chinatown

And I had commented that it was more of a candid street category than portraitures and it happened to spiral into a debate between Rushkae and macrolandscape which was subsequently locked by the moderator.

So wat say you guys?

Portraiture or Candids?

Personally i class it as candid....

Let's see... I did some street shooting and these I classify as candids..







even with direct eye contact as I just lifted the camera to my eye and just snapped...

This however can be considered portrait as I stopped the guy, talked to him and asked him to pose for me...
