hahaha - it was yr baby bike

Nope... it was a mountain bike... and I went out with tat group a few times only...

too tiring to keep chasing after them...

we went from Bedok South to Changi Coast Rd to Changi village.... the old man was laughing and said that I was good to be able to keep up with them even on the knobbly and steel frame...:sweat:

Didn't dare to go again after that.....

Well, it's ok.

It's not like I'm racing weef them or their ostentatiousness.

I wann ma IRON thhhhhighs!
IRON thighs ride bike not effective.... go join vert-marathons.

2kgs mebbe (the frame)... it was many years back...

paiseh

And usually we talking hardtail like my bike... if you are talking full suspension...no way 2 pounder frame.... it would be about 3-5pound depending on brand...and ALSO...if it was meant for downhill.

I hate downhill bikes..as they are heavy. They are meant to go down hill so weight it not a problem. But you have yahoos in Singapore who buys those bike to ride about as they look very fierce and yes..expensive...but you take a hardtail and you race them... they will lose on the long straight with you. A hardtail is good enough in Singapore unless you can afford those really expensive light weight full suspension XCountry bike..those can set you back about $7000 or more.

Saw a nice BMC the other day at a shop....easily $10,000.

At those days, I believe it was more of a front sus setup.. which were more popular back then.... also the rear sus wasn't as good as the ones these days... they lose a lot of power when you pump....

Only these days do you find the active sus sets which lock up when you stand up and pump for more power...
