Bring laptop.

Burn DVDs in hotel in the evening to free CF cards for next day shooting and also that you have backup.

Or store photos in external drive.

Laptop is almost indispensable to a photographer.

Can do raw conversions and edit photos in airpiort, in the air and in the hotel.

When reach home all photos are ready liao.

For the coming HK trip I'll bring my laptop and a few thousands of photos to Photoshop there in an external drive.

And also a small fold-up lap table so you can sit on hotel bed comfortably and edit photos.

As I only use Wacom tablet I'll bring that along too.

Don't forget power adaptor if you're going to a country with different power outlet.

Once I forgot to charge my battereis I rang back hotel room service and got them to do it for me. :)
 

About to leave my office as needed laptop, the heavens have opened up bring liquid sunshine ;(

Leong always brings his full photo editing suite with him when he travels. :)
