after looking through my photos, I realise that I cannot focus properly with the hand held lights. some of the images are oof.
 

my robber fly shots are kinda gone.
either flash too bright or my lens kinda fogging.

of considering long term, i doubt i will do much night macro.
even during day time, I don't really have time to do macro too.
and i'm not the diligent kind that will wake up early to shoot marco on my own.

or I just pm cateye to ask for recommendation?
looking at the fenix torches, not many model use AA. most uses CR123A batt.

My multi-mode one is CX-5. Not sure if they have any newer ones or if this model is dis-continued. You can check with Cateye for more info. Just remind him that you need a AA battery one. There are also some which uses 2 x AA, longer and more powerful than the single AA. :)
