Just out of curiosity what size is your dry cab? Btw, how come you didn't convince your sis to go for nikon since both of you can share the lenses?... Is weight issue again isit? Explode har... I can only think of "mushroom cloud"... :bsmilie:

I got a 120L and 40L. I asked her to get a EVF because of the size and weight, if not it will be a white elephant to her.

just now before noon i went punggol beach

super high tide, so no point going down. the development there is really fast, very different from my last visit.

access to the beach seems quite hard during higher tide already - the drain is cut off, to the left construction going on, you have to jump some distance down onto the top part of the sand from the police post area (which has been modified somewhat)

just for you guys, if you want to go. in the end just ended up walking down the whole of punggol road until near the town area, shoot some trees, then go hougang mall to run some errands before going home :bsmilie:

Another way is to do a little bash till the center area (towards left, facing malaysia), then get down from the big rocks path there. But i didn't try la, but seems like one alternative way.

:cry: just read this thread after getting back from offshore. Tried a 135mm lens from a friend and decided wanted to buy, then noticed andrew on a SSS, with 135, but 1 day late ....

Ohh well .. save save more more for a good 1D MKIII or IV ...

But this thread very poison one, SSS or BBB or leong taking people on jungle treks.

Much safer offshore, nothing but sea for miles ....
