Yes, they do have security scanning when I connect from T3 to T1. The passport control really sucks, they give priority to uk and eu passport. We just have to stand there and wait until the custom officer happy before they call you.:angry:

the trouble with border enforcement agency is that they will give attitude sometimes because they know that you can't emo them......

got one time i had no housing, and had to stay at a friend's place. didn't really know his post code, but i had full address - the customs officer gave me a hell of a time.

i'm taking Qantas there to T3, then transiting to T5 for domestic flight.
the way you all describe, can suck thumb liao.
that means i cannot explore the other terminals or go T4 to take a shower.

so... even transiting, i need to queue up for security at T3 or T5?

Not to start a sensitive political discussion but err... some countries are more supportive of certain groups, than other countries. As such, it is less likely their planes will be touched (why touch a supporting country's plane, right? stir $#!^ also not like that mah).
