I wanted to sell my B+W 77mm UV filter.
It came along with the lens that I bought.
Then Leong advised me to just leave it on the lens.

However when I checked the filter there're no scratch marks on it.

Even the coating is not easy to wear off.... I remembered reading an article about a guy who wanted to remove a single coating off a old lens to allow for better UV penetration.

He had to use fine grade emery cloth and hours of polishing before he actually got the job done. :sweat:

i'm coming back this sunday! switzerland is nice, if not for the lousy weather on some days, especially today. I could get a nice mountain shot cos it was too cloudy and windy, the clouds were moving very fast.

I loved the road that they have delicated lanes for cyclists. :lovegrin:
