Yep that notebook back is for a 15" 4:3 screen full size notebook. Fights with intruding cats tend to last about 4 seconds once she attacks...

Yes and when she does it you don't want to move a muscle lest she decide to use her razor sharp claws for extra traction.... Oh she doesn't climb up the back, she prefers the frontal approach .. it's far more painful that way.
