Sorry Uncle Sam - not been following your threads. Only just started playing with it and impressed that it ACTUALLY starts up!!!

It is also very fast and uses very little resource in fact it runs very well even on those cheapo EEEEPC like asus and acer... But there is a reason behind it too...it is very lightweight meaning alot of stuff has been taken out as they want to test the core OS. IF they start to put all the other stuff back in like the browser plugins, other security...etc. That stability will be compromised again. So we can only hold our breathe that it stays light weight.

You already install other stuff to it...your VM ware or some other third party stuff? I heard the 64bit version has some problems that the 32 bit version.

Just ranting on all the software issues....

Well that is an issue that will never go away.......That is why I normally would advice folks to wait a year before changing OS. Let them work out the kinks before you jump onboard unless you are very comfortable tweaking it.

Yes some minor driver issues with the VM Ware, but the guys I've been working with have done some hacks! So mostly okay.

BTW I was so p***** with vista I went and got a mac lap top. VMWare works fine on that :)

I think there is really no need. They promise to support XP till 2014. So it is safe to keep to XP lah. I am pretty happy with it. It hardly hang and if it does it is usually something dumb and involve a third party plugin or application. But just do some update and everything is fine again.

And my evil gif of the day....
