Still can't figure out how that can happen though..:sweatsm:
Because it is a SLR camera, the viewfinder is actually connected to the lens thru either the penta-mirror or the penta-prism.
And there may still be stray light entering past the mirror assembly when it is raised for a long exposure shoot. This light may then reflect within the lens and back onto the sensor, causing unwanted light exposure
