Deyeno,

Suggest you get what I have, you can drop the 10 stop ND filter, but 6 stop will always be useful.

2 stop ND grad soft, 3 stop ND grad soft, 6 stop ND filter (ND106), this should be good enough for you.

24-105 on DX or FX?

Here confirm no master....so no one dare to comments. :bsmilie:

If you are using fx, 24mm is the minimal, but the impact wouldn't be as great as UWA.

Basic filter for landscape is ND0.9 and GND0.9.

I am using Canon 25-105 F4 L

Thanks for the help will read up more to understand based on your suggestions.

Cheers ...

I think everyone know the meetup time/location on thur rite..........pm me if i miss anyone. :)

Leong,

Thanks again .. lotsa reading to do !

Cheers ....

Actually a lot of landscape photographer uses 24-105mm. :)

24mm is quite standard WA with mininum distortion, only recent years people are exploring with UWA.

For seascape, UWA can give very great impact photos, but for landscape with mountain ranges, 24mm is good enough.
