when you use 3rd party lens, how do you enable the focus assist magnification?

having trouble manual focusing using the LCD. Thanks.

i use the focusing scale on my lens... at 12mm the depth of field almost no need to focus already... tot they have a mf assist option? think i custom set to 1 of the button... can't remember...

the mf assist option, I already know. but if use adaptor I dun see it being activated, not sure if there's another setting I missed or not.
