One day must venture out with you to see how you take this shots.. So captivating..

Yes I agree, must venture out with him, if he will permit. I drive an Evo too & would love to be able to get some shots like this. ;p

I really don't mind. But most of my shoots are paid jobs, so a bit hard to do a mass shoot.
Why not arrange for an 'open-house' kind of shoot one morning - we can all have some fun.

wow, awesome photos.
your work is as good as professional man.
great job !

Hey bro, the place is opened again?

Issit go thr from the road linking beach road to town?

1st shot gets my vote!

Need assistant? if yes, me me me~~
:D

no disappointment from you, where can we go 300 kph in sing ? sonata only can max 260.

nowadays they have two TP to corner you up. seen many cases on the road.

seems like the car you're shooting is not travelling that fast ? just the motion blur make it look fast.

prefer the moving pics this time more than the static ones. maybe of the car's color, i thought the static ones lack a certain punch to it. was it an overcast day?

I'm a fan of Evo X, like your pics very much !

I am using that RIMs too, poison sia

very nice colors, very sharp pictures. I love them!

Thank you for appreciating the photos.
As for the car, that's very subjective. :bsmilie:

It's the entrance just before Esplanade bro. Just go in and hope for the best.
You're good at night shots, why not try some shots there ... :)

You're right. The cars are going between 10-15kmh only for my motion shots. :)

Yup... It was overcast right from morning till noon when it started to rain.
The muted feel was deliberate - but you're right, it lacks a bit of zing!

Thanks mate.
My wide angle shots were from my Sigma 10-20mm. Mostly wide open at 10mm / F4.0 / ISO 800... therefore the noise.
Close ups were from my 50mm 1.8. Mostly wide open with ISO 200-400.
Long rangers were done on my 75-300mm. Also wide open at F4.0 ISO 800.
I shoot on a Canon 1000D.

Motion shots are done using a rig made of aluminum rods, manfrotto suction pads and wireless remote shutter. That's about it for my set up. :)

 1000D only n yet like pro sia:thumbsup:
I sold my 1000D cos i thought it din deliver nice pix quality for me, guess really my skill got problem la:angry:

wonderful pics :) was the 1000d specifically selected for its low weight on the alu rig?

What an awe inspiring collection

This kind of shoot reli inspiring me..

lol... 10-15kmh only...?? u made it looks like 20kmh++... :bsmilie:

good job...

Thanks, actually I was hoping for 30kmh! :bsmilie:
Nothing much to it la, most automotive photogs use the same method, some even just hand-push the car, so as to minimize camera shake!
