event photographer wanted

Holding a bangle ceremony
on 11th sep 2013,
time: 6pm-9pm
venue: east area, blks.
need an event photographer to take photos of the event.

hobbist, amateur, semi-pro with portfolio will be sufficient.

Our budget is $150 for 3hours.
It is really a small scale event in the house.
we can intro the photographer to our friends for future works.

Are you sure $150 is enough to offset your equipment depreciation, transportation, processing, etc?

For an amateur rate @ S$150 for 3 hours, go ahead to shoot.
But bear in mind the heavy responsibility of producing images on a paid shoot.

Then, a few days before the wedding, there will be a bangle-ceremony where the family of the bridegroom goes over to the bride's home with bangles for the bride. It is also now that the hands of the bride are decorated by henna.

people dont really go to photo biz to start discussion or read the discussion.. its only when these kinds of jobs are posted then people comment or read

i know you are trying to organize it somehow... but the reality of it... once these things are transferred to photo biz as you say... theres no more discussion

i think its good that the discussion is done on the thread so even the guy who posted reads it... i dont think they will read it if its in your photo biz

this is a good way to educate the potential client as well coz a lot of people will comment
