[Europe] Croatia - any advice

Haha, I just think airport probably more comfy than stuck in the bus for 9 hours. :) I try to avoid any bus journey more than 4 hrs, spoil my mood also! haha
I think you're confused with bus to Dubrovnik from Zagreb?

Bus between Split & Plitvice is abt 4hrs
So it's

a. Hvar-> ferry/bus -> Split-> bus -> Plitvice (ferry & bus terminal opposite each other)

b. Hvar-> ferry/bus -> Split-> bus/taxi -> airport -> Zagreb -> taxi/bus -> citycentre -> nextday taxi/tram -> busstation -> bus -> Plitvice

ok ok, this is moot if u don't wanna stay in Plitvice anyway...

My mistake, I think bus between Split and Zagreb is 5hrs but somehow train is like 9hrs and prices are so much higher in terms of train so we decided to fly. Anyway internal flights are cheap, it's like less than 100 SGD each.

Hi

I'm travelling to Barcelona in Sep and plan to take a flight to Croatia for a short 2/3 days trip.

For those who have been to Croatia, if you are given the choice, which of the city will you choose ?:

Dubrovnik, Split or Zagreb ?

I did some research and I like the old town feel of Dubrovnik and there is this UNESCO waterfall site Plitvice which is about 2 hours from Zagreb. It will be too ambitious and too rush if I were to cover both so though of asking you guys for comments.

Thanks in advance!

I'm heading there in 2 weeks time, let you know when I'm back :)

haha... just before i'm heading there.. some live updates will be nice :) I'll try and check back during my trip!
