Epson RD-1 / RD-1s / RD-1x / RD-1gx

wow....such a luck to buy RD-1gx. Been looking but nowhere to get one.
Michael, try to find in Japan, lor. I asked my friend works in Japan help to buy from Mapcameras. Mine is full box almost like new with just a small scratch and works well. The minor problem of my set is that my friend doesn't know how to check rangefinder camera: its rangefinder patch is slightly tilted to the right while the framelines are slightly tilted to the left. Probably need to live with it! :(

Here is my set up for street now.

Once a while you'll see it on Ebay Store Matsuiyastore. Price wise, in CS, you may find it very lowly priced. Most likely the previous owners just want to "rid" it. But it held it's price elsewhere I think. I need to start playing w it again. When our next meet?

the older RD1/RD1s is going around $700-$900 on CS now, depending on what is on offer.

the newer 1x/1g/1gx easily going for at least $1200 since they are newer and can take bigger memory SD cards. plus (apparently) the newer models have a hardier LCD screen that doesn't fail that often among other improvements. IMO, the RD1/1s are really value for money if u want to go digital RF. hard to come by tho in CS. most of these are gone is a flash once they are posted.

Sharing some shots from yesterday.
