Street Price $600 for EOS M ??? Where to get it at this price ???

I was walking around Funan for days, checking out prices and comparing
Some is still listing it $1199 complete with Kit 2+3 etc.

I last saw TK price @ $949 ... but I was at Funan and saw $790 and grabbed it

Which is shop is selling more than $1,000 for kit I, II and III? If anyone of you bought it now at this price, then you are being ripped off.

Kit II - $769
kit III is $899

Actual street prices will be lower than that unless you are buying at Courts / Harvey Norman which normally sell at suggested retail prices.

Quite good price for kit III. I think that the street price is between $780-$795 depending on shops.

I bought mine during the last show and paid 1199. A couple of weeks later and it's 300 lower. Oh joy!!

Yes, local sets include the adapter which costs around $200.

For those who want to buy from US, do factor in the shipping cost + GST + foreign exchange rate given that US$ is stronger compared to last time.

Most importantly, local sets come with 15 months warranty while sets from US are not recognised in Singapore. You have to send back to US for any warranty claim.

Therefore, at the end of the day, the saving is not substantial.

you are very right about the warranty part. I received mine from US, and it refused to turn on, power-on LED keep flashing. For that moment, I was panic :sweat: only after a few hard reset that it is able to turn on. so far so good.

The box does not have a sticker for sealing. is this normal for canon ? this is only my second apsc camera after nx10, so not sure about that.
I paid S$488 including GST, freight, foregin exchange ( ~1.305 ). it's like S$200 less than local set, but without adapter, second battery, free gift. So if you want the adapter, definitely better to buy local.

i don't know what is CGW or HSG. I bought from B&H, and shipped by ups. shipping US$42.46 + S$10 disbursement fee. very efficient, few days to received the item.

ya, same here. i only want a smaller lens for the camera.

after few day of use, i feel that eos m is slightly slower than nx10 in start up, mode change, black out time after taking photo. and the AF area can only be reduced to a smaller size few times larger than that of nx10. but i guess i can adapt to all that, and i like the image which is better and cleaner in jpeg.

Kit 2 come with 22mm lens and the adapter. Sell the adapter and u will have the 22mm lens only.
