Woah. Even cheaper before or after price drop? If it's after that will really be a steal.

I agree it will be attractive and it will definately be lower than before the price drop... how much lower is anyone's guess. Whether they match the current price drop will be interesting to see.

The EOS-M has been a big flop in North America. My own camera dealer which has retail stores all across Canada does not stock it at all because there is zero demand. Canon US has refused to market the latest EF-M 11-22mm lens which in my opinion demonstrates that there is a lack of confidence in Canon management internationally. If Canon is going to be successful with this model, it will have to woe the North American market and price it aggressively. With a few tweaks and aggressive pricing, I think that there is a future for little performer.

The new lower end EOS-M model will be priced cheaper than the orginal EOS-M model and will have minor upgrades.

I really hope it comes out before end Nov man...coz I'm travelling in early Dec and wish to bring it along with me

If stored properly in dry cabinet will not collect dust!

It will, if I regularly open and close to take or store my NEX or RX100 or Canon D10 (yes, different gear for different needs)

I will doubt so the new EOS M will be priced lower than the now reduced price as it will kill the sales of the old model unless they priced it down further when the new EOS M is launch.......hmmm should I wait or just buy it...do note that the improvement of the new EOS M is minor and will it be anytimes sooner...before christmas?

i think the "lower" is vs the original SRP of the 1st gen EOS M.
