Hi... I have been hearing abit of 1.6 crop factor body at an advantage to take macro.. birds... theorectically i agree... but 5DmkII is 21MP powerful... so here is a shot to share.. just to make a statement.. 5DMkII maybe a all rounder gem.. CHeerios!

Hi... I have been hearing abit of 1.6 crop factor body at an advantage to take macro.. birds... theorectically i agree... but 5DmkII is 21MP powerful... so here is a shot to share.. just to make a statement.. 5DMkII maybe a all rounder gem.. CHeerios!

sorry to dissapoint you, but I think proper lens and lighting could help with this. I do agree on the resolving power of the new sensor !!

Have a look at some macro from 5Dmk2 http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=611650

Have not seen them flooding into that forum yet, but when the Mp-e65 users start to shoot in USA, we'll know how well does it do.

Maybe we could arrange an outing and I could interest you with some better macro gear..

Haa... Thanks for the offer but I should be working to do better with what i have. I rather work progressively to understand each gear that i gathered along the way...

shd look the same as the 5D w Grip only due to different positions in the connectors , they have to cut the L plate slightly differently

Haha the 24-105 or 24-70 dilemna has been going on for a long time liao, you can find all sorts of opinions and comparisons on the internet. Personally, i used a 24-105 for a few months before i decided to switch to 24-70. Get the one that most suits your needs lah

I switched from 24-70 to 24-105 as I find the former to be quite big and heavy for my usage.
