Try to add a zero at the begining of the serial number. It happened to my G9 before.

Hi guys, what CF cards are you pairing with your MKII?
I read somewhere that the camera maxes out at 6MB/sec.
So should I go with Extreme III or IV or just something like the ULTRA is enough?
Please advise. Getting my paws on a set in a couple of hours.:heart:

I have a 16 gig Extreme III, it had found a permanent home in my CF card compartment.

Took a sample with EOS 5DmkII, EF17-40 at F8, ISO400. The setup is with interest of checking out wide on a FF.. and F8 chose becos I have never been convinced of 17-40 to give me sharp performances. Using spot metering on the bus terminal number (No.4 against the green back).. and expecting the sky to be blown at ISO400... to check some fringing (or mysterious black spot claimed by Fake Chuck)..

Was pleasantly surprised of the other details in the photo as well... pardon my pic on the perspective and tilt.. just testing out the 21MP.. which is afterall my first experience at that huge a pic size. CHeerios!.. DO share some of your nicer takes.. Im lovin it!!

The camera maxes out WAY faster than 6MB/sec since the manual already recommends using memory cards than have an actual reading/writing speed of at least 8MB/sec for HD video recording. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the camera's UDMA controller maxes out at around 120MB/sec IIRC but I can't seem to find where I've read that. Ultra, Extreme III/IV should all be faster than 8MB/sec so any one of them are good. Just buy what you need within your budget.

can u post a 100% crop of the top right hand corner? I am wondering how good the corners are.

I am having problems with MkII play button. Sometimes it doesn't response. I need to press a few times and press very hard before I can see the image. Seems like an intermitten problem. Anyone experience that too? It kinda sucks cause I like to chimp during my wedding shoot to see if the exposure is correct anot.

yup, i encounter that also, maybe because it needs time to render the files before you can view? No really a big issue for me though... What worries me most is those holes for the mic cos as i was shooting yesterday it rains suddenly... no sure if rain will find their way inside my cam anot....
