End of dominancy by Canon in the FF market

First SED TV didnt launch, then 1D Mark III AF screw up... I wonder what's next? More print buttons?

I was at John 3:16 yesterday and was told by Sam that the last time they sold a set of 1D MkIII was 6 months ago. If its true, that's really saying something........ never under estimate the power of the net.....

coz as ivd niticed, photogs from Beij Olymp are about already 40% nikon users. unlike previous Olymps, 90% are canon users.

canon must regain its glory.

i cant see how they're going to do that though
if they keep coming out with half baked cameras
hopefully canon will surprise us all

$$ from parents. Must have convinced them that the 1Ds3 will improve his photography... and succeeded.
If only we all have such understanding parents... Acutally not. I'd buy Nikon FF then and all the kewl lenses.

Don't seem to see any leh...the Sigma 120-300 f2.8 is kinda short and small size lens compared to the OEM primes of Nikon and has a distinctive shortened hood. Most of these lenses have long hoods (meaning OEM lenses). I can see 300 2.8s, 400 2.8s, 500 and 600 f4s among the clutter of lenses.

Hi,
End of dominancy by Canon in the DSLR market is actually a good thing especially to the user... so that they don't over-charge their products because the user had little choice.

Thanks to Nikon, now the price of those L lenses start to drop... keep the competition going on and I may be able to afford those L lenses... ha ha ha
