See, I agreed with alot of your comments about the state of photoshoot in CS/Singapore. However, saying sleaze has no artistic value just way overboard.

Sleaze is a very legitimate art form. You just need to execute.

no pic can please the whole world... but i don't see or feel any sense of sleaziness when shooting these few sets. at least i've been told by many photogs in china and taiwan that they like these series on Candy, the most comforting news was in fact model Candy herself likes them and of course her mother does too.

i realized the views common amongst s'pore photogs can be very different from photogs in China, HK, and Taiwan... whilst many those who had seen these few series in forums in East Asia seem to find them a good way to go beyond simply sex appeal or fluanting female figures, s'porean photographers may find them a little too much. I guess it is th media exposure and culture influences in the different societies.

Well, I will say this series of images is nothing near "sleaziness" or "porn" as some people may view it.

It's all covered-up, by shower foam/blanket. :bsmilie:

There is always an element of 'Lust' associated with a nude figure; Let's not kid ourselves and pretend to be uninterested in that aspect of it.

Looking at the photos again, I feel that the photographer has captured what he wanted to accomplish; The feeling of Emptiness.

The bright and airy feeling of the set is consistant, and the glowing skin of the model. :thumbsup:

thanks for the encouragement! yeah, i've been slowly retreating from group shoots... and practice more on creating images that i can have more control over.
