Programme For the Day


- 7.30 - 7.45am - Registration, collection of goodies bag, Phototaking and Short Introduction.

- 7.45 am - 10.45am - Hands-on and Practical session. Participants will visit the various station and experience hands-on practice on the equipment as well as Q&A on the various aspect of nature photography by experienced members manning the Station. There will be 4 station consisting of 500mm & 600mm lense station, digiscope station, 400mm - 200mm station and a Macro Station.

-10.45am -11am. Movement to SBWR Auditorium

- 11am - 12noon - Talk on Nautre Photography Using Digi-Scope By Mr Ashely Ng. Mr Ashely Ng is not only an accomplished Nature Photographer but a well respected Birder in Singapore.

- 12noon - An Introduction to Nature Photographic Society Singapore (NPSS) by Dr Fong Chee Wai. Dr Fong is an exco member of NPSS. He is an experienced and accomplished nature photographer who has won several awards.

- 12.30pm - 1.30pm Lunch and interaction

What to Bring, Etc

1. You can bring your camera & gear so that you can try it on the lenses there.
2. You need to bring your own CF card so that you can check the result of your shots later at home.
3. For your comfort you may want to wear a hat, bring mosquitoes repellant (a must)
4. You are advised to wear long pants or jeans
5. An umbrella in case of too much sun or drizzle

Time and Location For Participants Taking Bus at Khatib MRT Station

- Meet at Ticketing Counter at 7 am sharp.

- 2 dashing, young and handsome men (Daniel and Knight Ong) will be there to meet participants and direct them to the bus. They will be either wearing a Nikon T shirt or carrying a signboard.

- The Bus is a Nikon/SBS Bus ie. the one with Nikon Advertisement paste all over the bus.

- Bus will leave at latest 7.15am

Important I will PM you one of their Hp No, (on Fri 23 Dec) in case you need to, Urgently, contact them on the day itself


I need participants to update the list if they taking bus, this is so that Daniel and Knight can check if all are onboard before leaving. Please update this list before Thursday 22 Dec
