Kudos  to Nikon (S), Jimmy, and our hardworking Peng Eik for organising today's outing. :) Quite a big group of Nikon users (and some non-Nikon users ;p ) turned up for a fruitful outing with so many big guns, and of cos, the *drooled-after* D200.

The weather, which was threatening to pour, somehow seemed to hold back and it was a nice cool cloudy morning (but no rain)

The crowd was also entertained by Ashley and Dennis on their respective slide shows on digiscoping and NPS and their exotic outings to Sri Lanka and elsewhere.

The goodie bag contained really nice stuff, and for the small fee per person, it was well worth the money paid.

Wait for shots of the event from our pro photographers. ;)
Oh yes, the goodie bags are VERY worth it..

Me also.
The fan is wet, inside metal contact corroded, think batteries leakage due too long.
But after some cleaning up, the fan work with new set of batt..

Yeah, the fans have been around for some months already, just clean it up and it'll work fine :D

And this is my group photo from the camera, just added the border, subject and name. I will be uploading the events photos shortly.

On behalf of the organisers in Club Snap, Nature Photographic Society Singapore, Avian Watch Asia, Nikon User Forum, I would like to thank all participants who have supported this event. Your presence, enthusiasm, smiles and patience certainly made this event a success as well as a pleasure for us to organise. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR COMING AND MAKING IT A SUCCESS

This event would not have been so smooth if not for the hard-work of ALL the organizers/helpers and friends working quietly in the background from getting the venue to preparing the talks, getting vehicles and helping to carry the goodie bags and equipment the night before, selflessly contributing their equipment to share with the participants, collecting the equipment and books, helping to buy and carry drinks and food, organizing the registrations at SBWR and Khatib MRT Station, and many other chores.

They are:
