Email notifications not working well?

there are a few instances when i realise that the email notifications are not working well, especially around the 10pm onwards timing...

This is probably related to the recent server slowdowns we have been experiencing. We are looking into the overall server performance and hopefully this issue will also be fixed along the way.

i've realised that this problem does not happen just at night when the server is busy. it happens too in the afternoon...hope you guys can check it out..

I am currently in the midst of a major revamp on the server backend, so this might be a possible reason during this period. In any case, I will feedback here once its complete so that everyone can monitor to see if it still happens.

Mine seemed fast enough... Is it your email domain that might be part of the factor?

I doubt so as I never receive any e-mail notification since I move from pacific net mail to hotmail.

i'm on gmail, and i use Thunderbird to check all my Gmail inboxes, which checks every 1min...highly impossible that my mail server is slow
