Back when it was still raining daily at sunset timing end Feb.. Wet pavement at the Padang provided an opportunity to capture some form of reflected distorted lights. :bsmilie:

Pasir Ris Beach - haven't been there for a while. The tide was too high, will be back again. :)

Back here again. Everytime I'm here I wish I could make trees disappear, if only for a while.

Trying out a newly acquired EPL3 from Simon (thanks!). Naturally the IQ is amazing for something so small but perhaps not so ideal for long exposures - there's a lot of noise (I turned the dark frame substraction off) for a moderate exposure timing (not beyond 30 seconds). This is a panorama from 2 frames with the kit lens. Nonetheless I'm sure it will serve as a decent backup option on trips/non-photographic outings for us. :)

5 exposures blended, single frame. I have been wanting to do this shot for a while (since the first time I was there) and finally had the right tide levels. On the way back I fell (first time, actually) and scraped my elbow. :bsmilie: I guess you win some and lose some.

Damn, that sucks man, hope your elbow's alright. Anyway yeah, the area has gotton alot more "decapitated" and getting a little more challenging to access.... Pretty sad. haha

I think this is the right tide level. Love this, this is definitely way better as mine had that damn crane in it and the highly distracting foreground - I should've stooped lower or face slightly more to the right I guess. I always hate that moment when you have only 1-2 minutes to decide your POV or before the sun disappears behind the storm clouds. LOL. I admit I was there late...
