5 exposures blended, single frame. I have been wanting to do this shot for a while (since the first time I was there) and finally had the right tide levels. On the way back I fell (first time, actually) and scraped my elbow. :bsmilie: I guess you win some and lose some.

Where is this?

Trying out a newly acquired EPL3 from Simon (thanks!). Naturally the IQ is amazing for something so small but perhaps not so ideal for long exposures - there's a lot of noise (I turned the dark frame substraction off) for a moderate exposure timing (not beyond 30 seconds). This is a panorama from 2 frames with the kit lens. Nonetheless I'm sure it will serve as a decent backup option on trips/non-photographic outings for us. :)

Hey , no mention .
Glad that u like it . It's for my wife , but since she doesn't even want to bring it out , I decided to let someone have it so I can fund for my new toy too .

Haha

#457 - Wow new toys!!!! Nice shot but feel that the contrast is a little too heavy compare to your usual setup....

Yes, I wasn't able to pull out as much detail from the EPL-3 files having been spoilt by the K-5.. Need to get used to it and probably bracket more the next time around. :bsmilie: Thanks for dropping by!

Please get well soon and take care....:)

Another recent EPL-3 shot.

10 shots layered here - 3 for ensuring exposure wasn't blown/under, 2 more for the boat trails and 5 for the light show.

460, 461, 463 are brilliant! Very nicely post-processed!

Looks like one of those fancy schmancy wallpaper images that you'll find on websites! Cool!

Hazey days provide good opportunities for minimalism.
