It's New Year's Eve today and as always, the end of the year is a good time to reflect. I always say, every year is a good year, because we're one year further down the road.. A little wiser.. A little older.. A little more jaded at times, and a little more hopeful as too. Technically speaking - all of us, young or old, should have grown a little more in this year, and that's reason enough to celebrate the end of the year. I hope to do so later watching the sunset.. But that's up to the rain that's pouring now.

I think this is the first time I've shot a photographer at work - just for the heck of it anyways. Not sure if it's anyone here in CS but I do recall that he arrived pretty early and was accompanied with his wife/girlfriend/friend.

Oh, were you the one at the edge of the water with me? Sorry if I was at the spot for a while - the scene was much wider than I thought so I took a bit longer than usual to try a few takes in case some didn't stitch. Thanks for your kind comments.

After looking at both versions, this one works better for me. The presence of the building lights, lack of foreground rocks gives more attention to the streaking clouds, and the highlights are better controlled. If 1st one was awesome, this one is great. my 2 cents.

I really don't know. I like the streak of clouds in the first version. But i felt the rocks in the foreground was kind of too small, so its a bit of neither here nor there so one might prefer it to be not there at all. The second one has some building light and i felt a bit more contrast. So i cant make up my mind! :bsmilie:
