The lights were actually unintended - one van was driving out of the alley and I thought he would turn to the side (I was on one of those markings that drivers shouldn't drive over) but he came straight and just looked at me expectantly.. So that's the result of the camera moving away. :bsmilie:

This morning I woke up and went to try to capture a slightly different angle of the Tanjong Rhu condominiums. Out of the Nicoll Highway station I saw the water and groaned - it wasn't still enough for anything near resembling a mirror reflection. The skies also looked really dismal, so I headed back home (yesterday's sunrise was nothing to shout about and the skies had looked exactly like that). When changing from the Circle line to the East-West line, I spied a marvellous red glow in the sky, and started running to the nearest vantage point I knew. This morning's light was spectacular. Wish I was at a better place, but it's always nice to be able to take in how nature paints its skies when it tries really hard.

I went to scout for a good view yesterday and found it, but the light just didn't inspire. While waiting for it to change I noticed planes taking off nearby and snapped a few shots while I was there. Unfortunately, the light didn't change, but it wasn't a wasted trip. I always enjoy going to Changi Airport. At least I can pretend that I'm off elsewhere again. :bsmilie:
