I really like the exposure of this shot - not too bright, not too dark, and maintains lots of shadow details.

I could be mistaken, but I rarely see you shoot from a point closer to the jetty
Love the way the setting sun creates a rim light on the rocks
And amazing how images evoke memories, one glance and I felt transported to the same beach looking outwards

Not sure what the reason is, but it tends to be calm in the mornings when there is no wind.

what time was it? hmm.. my wild guess is about 7am or so?

About 6.50 am. Right before sunrise. #174 was taken during 7.00+ am.
