Since it is velcro, would the soft box be able to fit all types of camera flash? Thanks.

Today I went to buy the Orionbounce....saw it hanging on the rack but without price tag. Thinking that the price should be as advertised, I approached a stern-looking young lady behind the cashier counter.....

I asked, "How much are you selling this?"

Stern-looking young lady answered, "15."

a bit confused:dunno: , I tried asking further, "..but I saw it advertised on clubsnap forum as $12?"

without hesitation, stern-looking young lady answered, "No, it is 15."

Not wanting to waste my trip there, I decide to purchase it despite the price discrepency.

IMHO:) , it is not very nice to advertise an item at one price and sell it at another price within a short span of 4 days. If it is a limited period special offer, then maybe it should be stated clearly.

:D caveat emptor.

type too fast....:bsmilie: wanted to say, "......within a short span of 1 week plus......"

I think next time we should print out the advertisement. ;p

I did encounter similar case before when buying rechargable batteries.

prices are different from their website... for example, the Konnoc 1 Hour LCD Charger (w/ 4 x 2500mAh AA) is going for $39 now.... instead of $49 as stated in the thread

can EastGear pls update the thread? I think it's better for all to use the website as a reference instead... Cheers folks...

So is the orion bounce any good?

Better than the build in flash card on the 580ex?

Coming Soon!

What is CompactDrive?

The CompactDrive is a hard disk based device that backups data (photos, video, documents etc.) from a memory card to the internal hard disk without the need for a computer or external power source. It is extremely useful for people like photographers who shoot a lot of digital photos but do not wish to buy multiple cards. With the CompactDrive, you can simply download the memory card data into the device and free up the card for more shots. At the end of the day, just connect the CompactDrive via USB to your computer to access the photos. A CompactDrive cost less than a tenth of the cheapest memory card of similar capacity, so why buy multiple memory cards when a CompactDrive is all you ever need.

  • Provides the ultimate battery convenience. Supports rechargeable NiMH (recommended) or alkaline AA cells. Carry spare batteries or buy Alkalines during emergencies.
  • The PD7X turns into an intelligent NiMH AA battery charger when connected to the mains via the provided AC adaptor. It takes approx. 9 hours to charge 4 pcs of 2500mAh batteries.
  • Using the latest 2500mAh NiMH AA batteries, the PD7X is able to backup up to 35GB of data on a single charge
  • Durable & lightweight aluminium casing with dust covers to protect the slots and PD7X from dust and hard knocks
  • Choose from available sizes of 20 to 100GB or just buy only the casing and install your own hard disk. Hard disk are user installable and reuseable.
  • PD7X can function as a high speed USB 2.0 portable hard disk as well as a 8-in-1 Memory Card Reader
  • Currently one of the world's fastest portable storage device at 4~5MB/s. Backup a 1GB card in less than 4 mins!
  • Supports CF Type I/II, MicroDrive, SD, MMC, MemoryStick, MS PRO, xD Picture Card. SmartMedia requires an optional SM-to-CF adaptor
  • 6 month warranty
