now thinking about it.. maybe I should reduce the lighting a bit more so that the pot is not so outstanding..

lolx.. actually was using it as foreground but then I guess.. its too outstanding till it caught the eye first then the halo cloud.

Yeah, same pot, different angle.

Not really HDR, just that i burned the clouds. A storm was coming our way. Re-edited the pic. Can you spot the difference? Burned the left cloud some more. It looked a bit unnatural. Hence the picture random-pax quoted and the picture now is slightly different. The quoted picture's link will expire in 1 hour as i've replaced it with what you see now.

This was what i meant when i mentioned about boosting the contrast and sharpness of your first pic. in the PM last night. I tell you... Sure turn out very powerful one, coz i can see the tone and gradation in your sky, and saturate your sunrise to golden. :thumbsup: A sliver of gold in between a dark tonal sky!!! Must do that ok... :lovegrin:

Ok, i help you out. It should look something like this:

Would be proud if i had taken it... sadly i did not. Only envisioned it for you. It's still your product. Well done! I would frame it up if i were you.

BTW, that was done with your small 600kb file. Imagine what the output would be when you work on the original! 100x better i bet!

Cannot, cannot... artistic integrity etc. I only help out with the creative process. When you apply the ideas during PP, it becomes 100% Skylover image already, from seeing the halo, using the pot, selecting the exposure, triggering the shutter and PP. It's all you. :embrass:
