E6 Processing of slide film

Very useful accessories indeed. I bought that too. The original holders that come with the scanner are very flimsy and of poor design.

Interesting...do you have to clean the ANR glass frequently?

fotohub is the only company handles the E6 process.
Apply a member ship and you can have few discount.
fotohub has many outlets in Singapore. Drop your films at any outlet you pass by and state the preferred outlet that you are more convenient to collect 2 days later.

Indeed, I clean the ANR with the spray (those used to clean computer screen) very frequently and wear gloves (thin transparent gloves when handling the ANR and the negs.

Now that you mentioned.. knock on wood.... should finish my slides soon.

I can confirm that Fotohub doesn't do any development work on Saturdays.

Pardon for me being a newbie, but what is this E6 or C41 that those film shooters have been talking about?:what:

I am into film recently and those I know are stuff like HC110, fixer and stop bath. Is there a difference between those chemical and those mentioned chemical like E6, C41, Rodinal or Diafine?

Hmmmmm Wootsk.. I can't decide if you're really asking a question or just making fun of us innocent folks here.
I know you say you are a vege-bird, but you are one very knowledgeable fowl... that shoots and D/Os his own 8x10...:think:

just 10 years ago or earlier if you asked these questions as a serious hobbyist photographer, we would have tied you to a tree and flogged the skin off your back ha ha ha .... ok just joking.... :)

E6 is color transparency slide film .... see below on how to process
what is E6 E-6 process - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

C41 is regular color film ..... see below on how to process
what is C41 C-41 process - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

HC110 is a developer like infosol-s and is mixed with water in various ratios for the developing brew

Rodinal is a brand name i think used to be made by Agfa but essentially its still a developer

...... but best to learn AT the darkroom ...... all the asking will do you no good without proper hands on .... and my serious advise is .... DONT DO IT ALONE first time ...... you sure get confused ..... and when the fumes start going off you could well panic if you are alone in the darkroom

ok good luck

google ....... BUT join a class or a friend to learn faster

p/s if you're shooting with E6 film , get a lightbox and good loupe

See, he is being helpful to newbies like me. Perhaps you (ed9119) can create a sticky thread in the traditional darkroom section so much so that for starter, they can understand a bit more about color slides, color negative, B&W negative, B&W slides, C-41 B&W negative as well as some understanding on what some of those traditional B&W chemical are like fixer, stop bath and types of developer. It will be much more useful with such technique discussion rather than what we see now like scanners and "this shop develop and scan very nice" in the traditional darkroom section...
