Hi wooksk,

Thank you for inviting me to this thread. I am really amazed that you guys are doing color film development at home with great results.

After spending about 25 years in my film processing office, I am still having some form of breathing problem and this grew worst when I started building fishing rods with exposure to 2part exposies. I will not join you guys but please be careful as prolonged exposure to such chemicals over time can be dangerous.

Once again I congratulate you guys for taking your hobbies so seriously. Film is still the best for serious photographers.

By the way, I really have a hard time looking for a good lab to process my 135-36 color films ( now I use mainly Lucky Super 200 ) and from your samples posted here, I think you guys are much better than most labs. Maybe I can get you guys to process my films, of course, I will pay for your services.

Before I forget, wooksk, you are already in good hands and you guys do not need me. I was running an authorised processing centre running huge deep tank automated machines with authomatic replenishers. Such automated processes kept chemical strengths and processing temperature constant. We only used filtered water. Even with such machines we needed to constantly process exposed film strips weekly to ensure constant and even result. The downside of such operation is that the operation was catered to the mass users and we could not bend our operation to suit individuals. So you guys are much more flexible, so enjoy your hobby.

So how the cross processing we miss last time. Initially I am hope for it before Christmas. Maybe we can meet up before new year??? Just any day except 31th should be fine as I got some firework shooting that night.

I'm free on wed evening..

Allo bro, next week. Either tue / thu / sat evening. Also need a roll exposed colour neg 135 or 120 or 4 x 5. Mine already process by lab, currently my camera all loaded with bw or slide. This week tie up with old buddy for happy hours leh.:)

The SISTIC has replied:sticktong
A bit wasted as I don't have c-41 films. So have to wait:(

Quite interested to see the 2 rolls developed, one with orange mask and without so can see the different in green cast clearly. Can wait for 2 rolls to finish first before the stars get onboard.

Then murder your neg. I have yet to try neg on E-6 before. :bsmilie:

So we set it as next Saturday? I think I still got some time, can get a roll of neg and finish shooting it before next sat to have it join in the developing.

So anyone coming this sat evening for some cross processing. Testing roll will be Ektar 100, still got space for 1 more roll if uncle Lee isn't developing his C-41 film. :D

This time round I have all chemical ready.:)

Is the e6 gathering later in the evening confirmed? Around what time?

7 plus.

Have been looking at my cross developed C-41 after I woke up and clear my head. Though under no base, I still think that the positive and negative mixture in my photos is because of the difference in exposure (certain part are underexposed). During developing, most of the higher exposed or brighter colored part of the photos have turn positive while some of it like dark hair shade are still in negative, as a result, the photo became a mixture of positive and negative look. It gaves me a idea if kgston film will turn out much better if exposure is 1 - 1/2 stop lower. :D

The is call "Sabattier effect". It produces both negative and positive image on the same film.

complete 4 more sheets of my 4x5, chemical near exhausted, will need to replace for fresh developer, as contrast become higher.

Total film processed with 1 litter of developer is about 4 rolls 120, 9 rolls 135-36, 25 sheets of 4x5.

Chemical in full bottle for more then 4 month.
