Dover Palican

The light was very dim. Good thing had a flash....

Drove past Dover in the afternoon. Can't help dropped by for a while, since I had the Mamiya and 180mm.

The light was much better. So a sunny day 4pm is best.

Spoke to the contractor there. They told me the Pelican will be demolished in a few weeks time.
The houses will be intact though, renovate to be rent out again.

Post the color pics:bsmilie:!

I like the girl hair style ;)

when i was in pri 4 or 5, i used to scale up the slope to reach the top of the triangle until I got a scolding from my father when he saw me doing it one day.
Some of the gung-ho kids could even walk across the horizontal bar. Another trick I like to do is to sit on the swing and swing it up. Then at the highest point, I would jump out of the seat and land on the sand. Those are the days!

My kid played on the Pelican and others when I used to work for Sing poly. He does not remember anymore as he was only 3~4.

Contractor told me this place will be demolished in a few weeks time. I wonder why?
They are cutting down the trees by the block 35, and ongoing.

Go shoot it if you can. I called NEA about the leaves and they swept it last week.

think i show these before.
Duck at Toa payoh Lorong 8. Nice food stalls at the Lorong 8 market.

not so vintage - Dino playground at Kim Keat. Walking distance from the Dragon Playground

The light painted swings are a very nice touch!

Remember: Pelican will be demolished this month or latest next month, according to the Contractor.

He watched me shooting, and advised me to return fast if I need more taken.

Sad.
