Very expensive so I heard. Each can cost as much as 1k odd? Depending on model and type I guess. And you have to purchase the outfits seperately also.
*bingo* Thanks ^^
hee~

generally for the 60cm, they do cost around US$600 and up~ (could be $2000 or more) (incl. shipping charges) if purchased fr. Korea or Japan, you can get cheaper dolls from China/Hong Kong as well.

Thanks for the info. Your dolls are mostly the larger ones or a mix of large and smaller sizes? When you mean cheaper issit the same dolls but cheaper priced or bootleg copies? (not sure if there are bootleg versions out there).

My guess is the accessories must cost a bomb too.

Most welcome.

I have a nice mix of different sizes, but I prefer the larger ones.

There are some Doll Makers that are situated in Hong Kong & China, and their dolls are tend to be cheaper in price than those of doll makers situated in Korea & Japan. There are some bootleg copies, but others have their own original dolls which tend to be lower -priced than other similiar type dolls. E.g. Domuya, Mythdoll

^_^ well all the accessories are handmade, so it can be quite expensive. :)

Wow! I really like Joy. How much did she cost? And how big is she?

I'll be going to Hong Kong end April. Are there any doll shops there that I can visit? :)

There are several doll shops in Hong Kong, but they do not manufacture their own dolls, they are mostly selling accessories & clothes.

I would recommend a visit to Doll Heart There are a few other doll- relateed (blythe etc) shops nearby too, but I don't have the addresses. you probably can ask the staff at Dollheart, they are very nice. :)

Hmm...anyone know if BJDs are available in singapore? i've always wanted to get 1 for myself. But i dont know where to get em..

Wow great shot. Love #2. What sort of lightings did you use for it?
normal table lamps as i cant think of any small lighting packages?

they eyes of the dolls are catchy.. nice

i've written about the dolls here
http://www.sassystrawberry.com/aboutdolls.html

unfortunately there are no more shops located in Singapore that sell BJDs, however its pretty easy to purchase online, and if you want to see dolls in rl before you decide, there are tons of bjd owners in Singapore.

#2 is

i think would have been better if her left palm is not twist facing back. it looks like she has another intention.
