hey, if you look carefully, i did not make a personal reference to you. i said something f%$ up., because the old thread turned up on the first page. it is quite an innocent mistake to think it was current. and once again, i repeat, i did not dig the thread up. it appeared on consumer corner and i just replied to it, like a good forumer contributing to the comments. when i saw the comments dated 2010, i thought i will do the right thing to point it out.

1. so i dont see a need to apologise because i did not call you names, the %$ was not a personal reference to you, it was a reference that something is wrong for an old thread to turn up like that.

2. the least that you as a moderator could do is to find out how such a thing can happen (old thread turning up like that) because it confuses alot of people especially if it is a closed thread

3. if you had been called Mr. Magoo or Dodobird for no rhyme or reason you will feel angry too. but i did not retaliate by calling you names

4. you can't be serious if a stranger calls you Dodo, you will take it as a joke. It means you are stupid.

5. if you had just clarified that it was an old thread and I had made a mistake, I would not have been offended or taken offence

6. yes, I may have over-reacted and I apologise to those who were offended when I use #@ but it was not personally directed at anyone.

btw, what kind of apology was that, if after a few minutes, you start to flame me again. i actually did not want to bother with this again and was doing my emails, thats why i did not reply immediately.
