Do you throw your film negatives after you got the prints?
unfortunately the quality of digital is still bad enough to only shoot RAW .. then again, i'm an old geezer coming from the film era ..
RAW is the only way. .
You guys tweak raw files one by one (manually) and then converting them to JPEG accordingly? Or have you come up with some batch process to automate things up (doubt so)?
I personally like RAW but I shoot JPEG most of the time. :sweatsm:
:Later,
RAW + Jpeg always for me...i use the RAW for processing while im using the jpeg as a basis on whats the original scene look like.
I always shoot RAW. The camera has a limited amount of time and processing power to convert the RAW image to a JPEG before storing it inside your memory card. If you shoot RAW, you can really take your time to slowly process the picture and the computer has much more power than the camera usually. Composition and proper exposure should never be put as second priority at any time, be it shooting in RAW or JPEG.When I started with my DSLR, I shoot primarily RAW. However, lately I shoot JPEG on my weekend snaps to force myself to learn how to get the image that I want as I shoot it (and not through post-processing).
