Can you guys advise me where to get the filter adapter (black aluminim preferably) and what filters to get?

And how much for each is expected...so i can gauge the price.

Bro , i dont think they got sell black adapter from canon , unless it from lensmate that have the black color. Do check out the buy and sell section.
Its around $39 58mm.

hi

me just bought a second hand g5 last week. 8). my first digital.

anyway, would like to know:

1. what is the difference between canon LA-DC58B and a normal 58mm filter adaptor?

2. any first hand experience to know if there is a significant speed performance difference between using a normal speed cf card like sandisk and its faster version like the extreme and ultra2 on a g5?

3. consider getting a teleconverter, do I need any other adapter as I already have a filter adapter. canon original may be a bit expensive for me, any other good options and any photo samples to see.

i got mine black for my G5

don't think the black aluminium Lensman adaptor is available in shops. I got mine during the mass order last year.
