Nevertheless, I found that, todays pictures not very satisfaction... all photos are not crystal clear and sharp :cry: :cry: Could it be overcast day, about 4pm...bad time for photo taking :think: :think: :dunno: (me newbie too)

Hi, since this is a G5 thread so i thought asking a qn abt the cam here would be appropriate .
I have been using a canon external flash on it, but now suddenly all the pics come out totally or close to black even when the flash is fired. The flash also seems to be at full power as it takes a few secs to recharge with fresh batteries. Have any of you got this problem? Looking forward to a solution

are you using M mode? In Av and Tv mode ETTL will automatically adjust the flash power. What flash is it anyway?

If you use M mode, you can set shutter above the X-sync speed which is 1/250s.
