Last night arrived at Changi from Hong Kong. Saw Jannett Ow, the main actress in Little Nonya with a girlfriend. saw her left the Customs after getting her luggage. Petite size girl. Really sweet looking. Then i realised that Tay Ping Hui is beside me waiting for luggage to be out.
Do you think what i am thinking?

My family and I prefer watching the 9pm starhub cable tv show. The show name is 通天干探 and their cast is quite strong with the following actors and actresses 元彪, 陈豪, 黎姿, 邵美琪, 蒙嘉慧.

I find that HongKong tv series have more twist and turn and most importantly the ending is unpredictable.

Singapore TV series watch till a little sian. Hope fully they can come out with some series that blend a action, comedy and love together. 通天干探 has blended these 3 element very well. :thumbsup:

But of coz must also give credit to the 小娘惹 for their hardwork in preparing the show. Just that I find that its quite hard to explain for the first few episode, e.g. how a kid is able to drag a corpse and travel such a long distant and the corpse is so well preserved. :bsmilie:

On the contary, I think Jeanette's acting is awesome. I've stopped watching MC TV drama as well, except when they screen Jeanette and Tay Peng Hui...

By the way, my heritage is Peranakan... the content is pretty accurate and even my granny who is 80+ recognise the culture captured in this show as so in her era...

I don't mind it because it's one of the few shows on local tele where I do not see either

a) Gurmit Singh
or
b) Michelle Chia


foreigners who watch local television will be forgiven if they thought that all males in Singapore look/spoke/behaved like Gurmit, and that all females in Singapore are like Michelle Chia.



I'm not dissing them in any personal manner, but I really am just that little bit sick and tired of seeing them in almost every other local production.
