Do you know you can get FREE Straits Times & others online ?

i just found out from my son.
just go to: www.nlb.gov.sg
then: eResources for Adults
then: eNews
then: Library PressDisplay

of course you will need to register... FOC for singaporeans.
something wrong with my account (some bugs), so i am using my son's.
all the major international newspapers are found here, in its newsprint format!

Won't be free anymore soon now that it is made public. I presume the library will soon put it under their "premium" Membership charging 21 dollars per year for the access to newspapers.

Don't need me to give them the idea. Once the news spreads and NLB realizes large numbers of people reading the papers and most impt of all ST finds its revenue dropping. It will talk to NLB... after all left and right hand both of the same body.
