If strictly by the book , practically everywhere also cannot shoot la .
Imagine that someone camps outside your home , set up tripod , attach a couple of flash units and pulls out a huge long lens .
You will bloody scream invasion of privacy !
But , if you go about discretely taking snapshots and walk away , no one bothers...:p
 

Actually, there is no "strictly by the book", because the "book" as you speak of (presumably referring to laws), do not prohibit photography in public places. Hence I'm not sure why you say everywhere cannot shoot.

The way you say it, its more of a hide and don't get caught method, which has nothing to do with the law, or the book.

really? which building?

probably a low building along Harding Road near the T-junction of Loewen Road. not police but i think Gurkha base (for want of a better word:embrass:)?
