Do Canon will announce new product in coming sept or more effort on1D MKIII.

Do Canon will concentrate more effort on 1DMKIII till next year PMA or there will be new successor for 30D or 5D in the coming sept for Mid range Dslr canon user?

please share your view.

next in time should be the 1Ds3, it will be release before 5D's sucessor. 5Dmk2 will be given 4fps, 16mp, 14bit new sensor, take most of the specs from the current 1Ds2 but in consumer body. 1Dsmk3 will also inherit the new sensor, make some refinements, make it a little more killer product than the 1d3 and the bloodly cycle goes on.

My guess is the next 40D specs are fairly predictable at this juncture, 10.3 or 10.1mp, new sensor, 2.5" screen, dust removal blah, 14bit. Just think the next price drop will be at this range, hopefully it will hover around $1800, making more ppl pick up photography.

1dsmk2 at 6k!!!i really hope too,hofeully early next year.....but likely to be in 2 or3 years to come cos its still the highest mp camera in the world for 35mm DSLR.:dunno:

Not a dream - the 5D price is already near that. About 4000+ I think. HK price now HK 18,000 or about 3,500.

This is what a lot of people are hoping/waiting for. Eye Control!

Hopefully at least 12mp FF and clean high ISO like the 1D Mklll.

IMHO, not likely for the Pro Series. Handling it with a thick glove in icy conditions will be near impossible.
