my bad, someone mentioned that the range is between 1500mm to 3000mm.... if fitted to a P300 I think... the crop factor plays a big part.

Low noise is one thing, but the ability to capture details, that's the difference
therefore I think it's hard (though not impossible) to beat the physical difference of more real estate on the sensor.

For events and indoor fast moving activities, a good photographer with the right gear is better
