Pretty normal pricing. I got my buffalo 1TB ext HDD USB 2.0 for 125. I didn't need the USB 3.0 cos I dun have any USB 3.0 ports!

I'll get the USB 3.0 port cards when their prices drop further (or increases more 3.0 ports)... would be great for TB drives... otherwise - backup takes for EVER!....:bsmilie:

Right now 3.0 USB PCI card is about 45 bucks... but 2 ports only... Sianz.... 200+ GB files still transfering over 2.0 ports... 2 friggin hours liao.... *fume*...

What the fish?!? 200+ GB? Tt's quite a lot of files you're backing up! Why not do it in stages if you're doing it manually? If doing backup using a software, check if there's a setting for the system to turn off or sleep when it's done. Then you can go to koon liao

bro, the latest motherboards (for the Sandy Bridge processors) come with onboard USB3.0 support on some of the slots.
But seems like there aren't too many USB3.0 devices out there yet.

D700 replace shutter sounds quite scary. The guy must be machine-gunning it, or else very unlucky to suffer premature failure.

when you guys log in to CS, then leave the screen idle for say... 20mins... and then try to access something that requires a log-in, eg. your subscribed threads, do you get redirected to the log-in prompt again?

Just wondering if it's some setting which I can change on my browser.
Works fine on my iPhone's Safari.
