T-1204X and T-1004X the same one right? just that one is Carbon Fibre Series?

yup same, but the carbon fibre and aluminium makes alot of diff in weight esp if u wanna carry overseas for long period of time.. if buy too heavy, scared will just leave at home n not use it ultimately..

im a noob too so, wad i know so far is if u reverse fold the tripod when u keep it will be smaller...

Actually, shorter... width wise still wider (whole thing) if you compare to normal folding, coz you have to push the column all the way up and the base plate keeps the legs spread out... normal folding you can keep the legs closer at the bottom... either way, I still prefer reverse fold... :bsmilie:

looking at the technical details of T-1204X and T-1004X, the only difference i see is the weight, it doesn't say anything about the angle leh. or did i missed that out?

I reverse fold because it can protect my ballhead since I can always leave it on... :bsmilie: Like putting it behind bars...

errrrrr.. we didnt try the low angle functionality yet. and im not the one fiddling with the tripod.. im in chg of the cam instead.. :bsmilie::bsmilie:

I think it can do low angles... I read 135mm on T-1204X. So rest assured it can... the problem here is the ballhead G20 will make you unable to reverse fold well, especially if you put on the short column... Smiles88 has this problem. He's on G20 I think... give and take I suppose... If you want bigball head, and can reverse fold better...maybe to give T-2204X a look... test out the reverse fold with the ballhead of your choice first.

In my case, I'm using a short column hence my ballhead is closer towards the top... but I'm not using Sirui's ballhead okay? :bsmilie: Hence can do the job.
