as pasay said.... D90 + 35 + SB400 is the 'ninja' setup. Small enough until you don't really feel it. But SB400 cannot be your only flash...Do pick one up if you spot a good price in BnS. I got mine for $130. The TTL is quite accurate.

With SB700, I could have a 3-light setup for group shots, making use of the pop-up as commander, and for slight fill-in.
Or mount SB700 on hotshoe and use SB600 as remote slave for some side lighting or kick light (hope I got the term right).
